The District of Columbia Capital Readiness Program (CRP) complements the DC BizCAP’s offerings and advances BizCAP’s mission to empower, educate, and provide financing options for District small businesses. The program includes both cohort-based curriculums and public workshops to provide high-quality and accessible training for District entrepreneurs.
Cohort-Based Training
CRP holds a cohort-based training program designed to help DC-based small businesses gain the knowledge, tools, and support needed to pursue grants, loans, and investment capital. The 12-week program will strengthen entrepreneurs’ skillset navigating the following areas: Business Management, Sales and Procurement, and Financial Education.

Small Business Academy
The Small Business Academy offers public seminars, webinars, and trainings on various financial topics relevant to small businesses, to ensure small businesses are empowered with the tools they need for financial success.
