The Elder Abuse Prevention Committee, government agencies and partner organizations seek to provide District residents, businesses and community stakeholders with information, education and to resources to promote a better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons and raising awareness of socio-economic and cultural factors affecting elder abuse and neglect. The event connects participants to vital information and access to government, private sector, and non-profit resources.
