Delivery of the Notice of Assessment for 2021

The purpose of this notice is to inform all insurers licensed and operating in the District of Columbia that the notice of assessment required under Title 31, Chapter 12, of the D.C. Official Code will be issued on or about March 29, 2021. Additionally, the Department will no longer be sending the notices of assessment by first-class United States Postal Service mail. The notices will be delivered by email to the Current Financial Statement Contact in the most recently filed annual statement for each insurer. The payment of the assessment will be due within 30 days of the date the notices are sent.
