The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development along with the Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking and the Mayor’s Office of African-American Affairs are Hosting a Black Homeownership Series for Black History Month.
Mayor Bowser set a goal to help 20,000 black residents become homeowners and invested $40 million in Legacy Initiatives in FY23 to help black residents stay in their homes and preserve their legacy. These two homeownership workshops will teach you how to access these resources to start or continue your homeownership journey in the District.
