Insurance Tax Returns & Installment Reporting
The District of Columbia insurance tax form for 2013 annual premium tax filing is now available. New for 2013: We have combined prior four types of premium tax return forms into one form for all Life & Health, P&C (including RRG), Health, and Title companies to use this year. However, the D.C. premium tax laws and policies have no changes in this year; especially the D.C. Life and Health Guaranty Fund Premium Tax Credits are granted only for Class B assessments made by the D.C. Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association as before. You must make appropriate sections in the dropdown boxes of “Select Company Type” and “Select Premium Type” (other than Accident & Health Premiums) in the form when you prepare the tax return.
