The District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office on African American Affairs, DC Public Library, Industrial Bank, Radio One and the Urban League, will host Financially Fit: Journey to Generational Wealth, a three-part series of presentations that will promote wealth building for African American residents. The series will highlight Financially Fit DC and additional resources that include local libraries, web tools and financial institutions. 
 
Financially Fit DC Kickoff and Series Launch 
Join us on the rooftop of Woodridge Library for the kickoff of the Financially Fit DC Workshop Series for a day of networking, music, and mocktails as we learn about personal finances.

Financially Fit DC Workshop 
This workshop will focus on building and managing credit, budgeting and increasing savings.

Financially Fit DC Workshop 
This workshop will focus on financing assets to build generational wealth (i.e: homeownership, stocks, business ownership).
