Actuarial Memorandum and Rates 
American General Life Insurance Company of Delaware is submitting revisions to its Group Life Rates as outlined below and as further explained in the enclosed Actuarial Memorandum: 
1. Base mortality rates were updated to be consistent with the most recent Society of Actuaries study. 
2. Area factors were added to the calculation formula to reflect variations in mortality by geographic region. 
3. Industry factors were revised based on data from our reinsurer. 
4. Participation rate factors are added to reflect optional participation in the insurance plan. 
These rates are for use with the forms series G-LAD-40000 et. al. approved for use in the District of Columbia on 4/14/2004 SERFF tracking number 5XTPE8627/00.
