DC EMANCIPATION DAY WORKSHOP

Peter Hanes (the son of Loretta Carter Hanes, the "Keeper of DC Emancipation") will convene a workshop on International Emancipation Day and the History of DC Emancipation Day. This panel will consist of C.R. Gibbs, Author, Lecturer and Historian of the African Diaspora, and Rosemary Sadler, Order of Ontario and President, Ontario Black History Society.
