Franconia Sculpture Park is now accepting applications for the 2014 Fellowship Program!
Located on 25-acres in the scenic St. Croix River Valley, 45 miles northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, USA, Franconia offers opportunities for artists to live, create, and exhibit three-dimensional artwork. Artists are encouraged to challenge themselves to achieve new visions, work on a massive scale generally unattainable in an indoor studio or exhibition space, and engage with the public.
Fellowships provide the opportunity for artists and/or artist teams to create ambitious projects and exhibit new work while in residence at Franconia. Sculpture, site-specific, multi-media, performance, and installation
proposals are considered. Franconia’s Fellowship Program includes FSP/Jerome Fellowships and Open Studio Fellowships. Only one application is required to apply to all available fellowships.
Residencies last a minimum of 3 weeks and take place between April 1, 2014 and September 15, 2014. Fellowships receive a stipend of $4K - $5K to support their time in residence and the creation of new artwork. Up to 10 artists/artist teams will be selected for the 2014 Fellowship Program.
